MORE CYBERSTAMPS
Item No. 4, "Pygoyan Sculptures"
These represent a sampling of over 100 sculptures done by Pygoya
from 1983 to 1985. But as of August,1985 the artist redirected all his creative efforts to
the computer as his chosen art medium. Pygoya includes in his computer art a sensitivity
for sculptural surface and textures and even uses his own sculptures as texture maps for
his digital work. Edition of 250 color laser-stamp prints, signed and numbered by the
artist.
Item No. 5, "Cyberpaintings"
These were the first cyberpaintings by Pygoya to be displayed online on the
Internet. For the short existence of Pygoya Webmuseum's predecessor, the art was exhibited
at Webfelt Museum (webfelt.com) from September 14 to October 15, 1996. This commemorative
sheet of cyberstamps is also available as an limited edition of 250 color laser prints,
signed and numbered by the artist.
Item No. 6, "Cyberdigitals"
In a separate gallery of the demised Webfelt Museum these "cyberdigitals"
or original electronic images, as differentiated from "cyberpaintings",
were exhibited. These are more recent digital imagery by Pygoya which may or may not be
rendered into actual paintings. Color laser print edition of 250, signed and
numbered by the artist.
