MUSEUM SERVICES FOR GUESTS AT THE
WEBFELT: The Permanent Collections Hall of Pygoya Cyberpaintings and RC
Cyberprints, virtual reality galleries of featured artists' exhibits, free
E-INVITATIONS or email picture postcards providing show dates, artist(s)
availability in the ARTIST CHAT LOUNGE at the grand openings and the opportunity
to buy gifts and souvenirs of your museum visit at YE OLDE GIFTE SHOPPE and
THE COLLECTORS GALLERY.
Artists who want to hang out with
other artists identifying their work as cyberart or want to make the transition
into the medium can apply for virtual reality art studios spaces. Museum
visitors can cross the virtual campus , leave the museum and its affiliated
cybercultural research center and rap with emerging cyberartists. They will
also have a group display of their art on the first floor of this
studio/dormitory. This art site structure may lead to the developing of a
Cyberart School of Fine Arts.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY: in the
works, interactive art puzzles which is taking custom programming to produce
for the site. The thrill is finishing the puzzles by certain time limits
and win a prize. I haven't decided yet if one doesn't finish in time if there's
going to be a penalty. ?????
If you know any great digital
(computer) artist friends going cyber please tell them to check out the Webfelt
and email me so the selection committee can review their work/concepts for
future possible exhibits at the museum. We're looking for a few good
cyber-artists!
Watch for the biggie, the special
event , "EXHIBITION 2000", an all world artists cyberart show heralding in
the next century. Theme will be welcoming the new dawn through aesthetic
cyberconceptions and cyberexpressions. Guaranteed artist from every continent.
Firework display in animated cyberspace probable. ; )
THE FIRST GROUP SHOW IN THE "CURRENT
EXHBITIONS" SECTION OF THE MUSEUM WILL BE ARTWORK BY The Hawaii Computer
Art Society (probably September -October 1996)
