Item No. 1, The Webfelt Commemorative - Series I, 1996

Pygoya's first cyberstamp sheet, created December 18, 1996. The series of images serve as a personal commemorative of Pygoya et al's first attempt to post a museum on the Internet. Unfortunately because of server and programmers conflicts, the domained site was online from only September 14, 1996 to October 15, 1996. The concept was to showcase the best of cyberart on the Net, develop a permanent collection , establish a stable of cyberartists in virtual studios and build a "research library of cyber-culture from which artists could derive concepts for new cyberart". The portrait art included here as cyberstamps were included in the invited Hawaii Computer Art Society exhibit that served as the inaugural , and unfortunately last, invited artists exhibition. Available in an edition of 250 color laser prints, signed & numbered by the artist.
