Exhibit: Snapshots from PygoyaMuseum.com’s sculpture garden

Sometimes, the fun thing about art is it is a mixture of what is actually real and what appears to be real. Art is a rush for the senses, which Snapshots captures. Although the frames leave a little to be desired, the pictures captivate you because of their sense of reality and fiction. While everything looks real, you cannot quite put your finger on what gives you a fictional sensation.

Exhibit: Straight out of the Camera

While perusing Last Place, I came across a gem of an art exhibit by Xi Yang called “Straight Out of the Camera.” The purpose of the art exhibit is to stray away from the superficial, extremely edited pictures people are used to seeing and just display nature in its natural beauty. The photographs are stunning and you feel like you are at a high-scale gallery in New York City. My favorite peace, Winter Birds, Swedish Winter, features two birds resting on trees. The use of light in the picture is gorgeous and gives the piece a quiet feeling
