Pud, curator., The Petersburg Biennale of computer graphics. In 2002 , a world-wide
exhibition of computer graphics is planned at Cultural Center " Pushkinskaya 10 " in St. Petersburg, Russia
( . Artists and galleries from all continents will participate.
Up to 1000 works are expected to be
shown . All digital artists are invited! In 2001, an exhibition of computer graphics by the artists from group DIGITAL (Russia)
and PODgallery (NY USA) ( has already been held in the ■Museum of nonconformism art■ at the
Center . Fundamental rules 1. Stage of selection of works. At this stage, every artist sends to the organizing committee, 2 files
in jpg format of no more than 30 kb each or their Web address where it is possible to look at works . After the review of the
works by the organizing committee, a decision about involvement of the artist in the Biennale will be taken and an invitation and
a program of the Biennale will be sent to artist. All conditions of participation to the exhibition will be detailed in the invitation.
Some principles are given below. 2. Participation to the Biennale. 2.1. Free-of-charge. In this case, after having been invited,
the artist sends 1 or 2 files in tiff or jpg formats of such dimensions that it will be possible to print works of good quality . The
printing is made at the expense of Biennale. In case the jury recognizes it necessary, the participant gives work for printing of a
calendar (only 12 artists from all participantes). After the Biennale, the printed work (not files) becomes the property of the
sponsors. 2.2. Paid participation. The artist prints work itself ,and pays its insurance and mail services. After completion of the
exhibition, the works will be sent back to the artist. The artist does not take part to the award program , the works can not be
printed in a calendar. 3. Copyright. All copyrights are saved. An exception is made for the works selected for printing in the
calendar. The curators of galleries of digital art! Your gallery can be represented as a whole. But the final selection of works is
made by the organizing committee. Principles of selection are the same for galleries and separate artists. Send works and all

and gentlemen! We offer you to familiarize with the fundamental principles of ■The International Association of computer
graphics " and to join it. If you agree to enter Association or if you have any questions or if you want to change or to add
something in fundamental principles, write to The fundamental principles of "The International Association of
computer graphics " 1. Fundamental purpose of the association: a wide acquaintance between the spectators and computer
graphics and artists, showing the concept that computer graphics are an independent unit of art. Only computer graphics, which
can be printed out are taken into account. The association will carry out various - physical and virtual exhibitions of digital art,
will establish a data base of artists, and will support various events linked to computer graphics. Members of Association will
organize individual and collective exhibitions, help each other to form them and to find the sponsors. 2. Any gallery of computer
graphics - virtual or physical, any festival or similar organization linked to exhibitions of computer graphics can become a
member of the Association. Then a jury of the Association will be formed by members of the Association. Digital artist can
become the member of Association by the solution of the jury. 3. The digital artist wishing to take part to exhibitions can
become a member of the Association. For this purpose artist should present by any way works and, after having viewed their,
the jury takes a decision about reception as a member of the Association. 4. Any people dealing with problems of computer
graphics can become a member of the Association. 5. During the preparation of exhibitions every member is guided by own
principles, the wishes of the other members are only recommendatory advice. 6. Regularly (every 2 years) the Biennale of
computer works will be carried out where the best works of the members of the association will be presented. 7. The members
of the association permanently inform the others members about all interesting events, linked to computer graphics. 8. The
association has its own site, where the list of all members and information about the activity of the association are displayed. 9.
The membership to the Association does not limit , at all , the individual activity of every member. It is the first step into the
process of creating the Association in a near future .The Fundamental principles of the association and other questions,
