Hello Again Rodney,
I wish I were vacationing in Hawaii. I'm taking time off my regular job to run a fireworks stand from June 26 through July 4...I'm sure I'll get a bang out of it. HA HA
I forwarded your e-mail to the contacts I sent to you to give them a heads up  and an opportunity to look at your website so they are expecting your call, your e-mail or your visit.  Your artwork is wonderful.
Following are e-mails for everyone.
Dee Dennis at the Roswell Museum and Art Center: dennis@roswellmuseum.org;
Lanice White at the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art: lanice@roswellamoca.org;
and the e-mail for the Roswell Fine Arts League is: dirvin@rt66.com
Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Bye Bye.
Suzy

Hi Suzy,

This is all exciting! Imagine that, coming to famous/infamous Roswell, materializing in the flesh, no longer not just a place one reads about in these UFO books.  I'll be one of the few lucky ones to boast "I was there" (well, not in '47), having made the pilgrimage to your UFO Mecca.

Thank you for the contacts and for having informing these art leaders that I shall call them to visit and learn. I will do my best to put all in the best light in regards to a serious art movement in Roswell when I write with the eyes and ears of the online world of art lovers. I'll also take photos as well as interview.

Too bad I won't meet you. Taking a vacation? Where, Hawaii?

Sorry I haven't seen any pictures.  Can you send the web address again and I'll go check it out. By the way, here's my own art online-
http://www.absolutearts.com/pygoya/  (that's me in Ripley's Believe It or Not! when everybody had disco afros).

I do hope I find a workable property and partner artists for a Roswell UFO Art Gallery of the future.

Aloha,
Rodney

Happy Tuesday Rodney,
I'm so glad you are able to attend the UFO Festival.....you are in for an out of this world experience.  I will be on vacation during that time but there will be a lot of people for you to interview.  Bernarr Treat is the Executive Director of the Roswell Chamber of Commerce and has lived in Roswell his entire life so is a wealth of knowledge.  We have several art galleries in Roswell.  The Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art is designed for local artists with the Artist-in-Residence Program.  The Foundation Administrator,  Lanis White (505) 623-5600 is looking forward to visiting with you.  Then we have The Roswell Museum and Art Center,  contact person is Dee Dennis 624-6744 and the Gallery of the Roswell Fine Arts League and ask for Joyce Tucker 625-5263.  Let me know if I can be of further assistance.  Did you check out the pics of the Gallery I was telling you about?
Aloha,
Suzy

Hi Suzy,
Well I'm now booked to be in Roswell June 30-July4th! Hope I find a property that lends itself to becoming the Roswell UFO Art Gallery!!!!
I'm also scheduled to submit an article on the city of Roswell and it's art community.  It's for global World Wide Art Resources online with 1 million visitors a month.  If you can find anyone who wants to be interviewed to promote Roswell as a community to visit or relocate to, do business, or has to do with local culture, I'd be very happy to schedule time to meet.  How about you at the Chamber? I could pickup any promotional literature the Chamber has for outsiders thinking about investing in Roswell.

Aloha,
Dr. Rodney Chang/Hawaii

Happy Afternoon Rodney,
If you go to the website www.dfn.com/runners and click on schedule you will see a list of all upcoming marathons.  Art galleries you can contact are: Roswell Museum and Art Center  (505) 624-6744 www.roswellmuseum.org , Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art  (505) 623-5600 related websites www.rair.org and www.roswellAMoCA.org ,  Gallery of the Roswell fine arts League (505) 625-5263 and an excellent contact is Joyce Tucker (505) 622-4985.  There is a fabulous adobe building that housed the Nearburg Gallery. It is now for sale and I believe asking price is $250,000. This would be a great space for your art gallery and residence.  I'm drooling....I wish I could afford it....it's simply fab.  If you are interested let me know and I'll give you the pertinent info like the listing agent and phone number.  I will mail a relocation packet to you today.  Thank you and enjoy your afternoon.

Hi Suzy and thanks for the info.
I would be interested to find out the other dates besides the Jul 1 marathon. I'm not in shape for Jul 1 but could be next year, now knowing the date. But maybe I could come and run something else prior this year. I want to seek property for an art gallery for space art and also residential property as my vacation home. Please send any info on Roswell and runs and neighborhoods of the city.  Also would appreciate how to contact the local art club or association so I can join now and start networking.

Happy Wednesday,
Roswell has several marathons every year so I'm not sure which marathon you are inquiring about.  The next marathon is the Roswell Alien Chase which will be held July 1, 2006.  The website is www.dfn.com/runners   The contact person is Bob Edwards (505) 627-5507.  The UFO festival will be held June 30 through July 3 of this year.  If you want I will send you a visitor packet.  As soon as I receive your mailing address I will mail it off.  If I can be of further assistance please let me know.  Thank you and enjoy your day.

Hi,
I note online that there's a marathon in Roswell. How can I find information about it? I went to www.marathonguide.com  but found only Albuquerque's for New Mexico. I also could not find online a website for your marathon like other marathons have.  I'd like to come and run the marathon if there's no time limit to finish for senior citizens (I'm slow!) and also come to visit your world famous UFO museum.

Aloha,
