1  8 lb. aku,  8  20 lb aku tuna, 1 15 lb waihee ono

Bronson struggles to hold up his catch;  imagine fighting this all-muscle monster
at full strength, while you are strapped sitting down, winding a handle on a stick!

Houston with his fish after a long tug-of-war on the high seas

Jeremy, budding engineer, checks out the hydrodynamics of his fish, similiar
in body shape to the airplanes he builds and flies using radio controls

Rochelle and her Ono delight! Jeremy helps hold
the fish "because it is too heavy and slippery;"
this fish ended up providing 30 meals (count the
cross-section slices)

Rochelle also caught this huge Aku all by herself!
That's a lot of sashimi!

Part of the catch

A total of 9 Akus!

The happy fishermen and their quarry mug for the camera

A few hours later, Jeremy's dad, Jon, grills up
some slices of Ono for a hungry gang of nine.
A wonderful way to end a day of fishing with family
and friends, and enjoying a Hawaiian Sunday dinner
with relatives on the ridge of beautiful  Miliani Mauka
