Town's community outdoor pavilion
Ah, Country Living - love the color scheme
Great early morn volunteers. They had to get up early too for this.
And its past....
A rare decline; but most of it is flat and sea level
Under only bridge, will pass under once more on the way back. Towards Mokuleia, not Wahiawa (to the left)
Now up this incline along the high school; some returning from the neighborhood loop; turning left on the right side of this picture.
Those of the right are coming back out of this loop
8th in a residential Waialua neighborhood, close to the high school
A loop in the loop
Former plantation houses
So beautiful, a striking example of the 50's , local style
A turn in the loop
Always turning right
Neighbors like these should be considered Living Treasures of the community
Well... it all sorta blends in together
Another right, but first, a drink.
One of them offer to take my picture, after I asked for theirs.
She even proposed to toast the moment! Which, of course, I just couldn't refuse.
I wonder how many years it saw come and go before this part of the tree moved on itself.
Definitely a uniquely shared lifestyle by the neighbors living on these streets. Crooked white line indicates it gets hot here.
Picture Perfect. A lacy white wooden frame would be cute.
Composition in Signs and Metal
Coming out of the loop and back to along the front of the high school
It's hot and dry here, with wind blown dry reddish-brown dirt coating the pavement, a never-ending reminder of its former plantation days
Niner in front of the school
Nice art on a classroom wall. Love how it works with the chain link and plumbing.
Along long, long highway - The loop - to Kaena Point, the eastern pointed tip of the shape of Oahu island.
Great outdoor open space.... but this could get boring over the miles....
An artistic landscape for the passing marathoner's delight
