Online cultural contribution from the Webists based upon their Peace and Love International Art Project
Victor Vidal of Copenhagen, Denmark, conceived of and directed the art project as a member of the Webists. The Webists is an international group of artists dedicated to making our world a better place through goodwill and harmony among all people. Webists consider all of us as one family. All artists are welcome to join. The "flag" has been displayed in several nations and has image contributions from 16 nations. For more information about the project, visit the link resources below.
Here at Truly Virtual Web Art Museum, I have selected some of the 140 images on the "flag." Selection were based upon poignant imagery that communicates the hope for more peace and love in the world, as well artistic quality deserving to be recognized in its own right as art - besides being a part of the overall mural. It is our hope that these samples convey to you the global plea for a more loving and peaceful existence for all of us. - Pygoya
