1978-1981       Student at the Art and Design Department of Shanghai Light Industry University.

1981-1984            Artistic designer in Shanghai Medical Bureau.

1985-1991             - Lecturer at Shanghai University Fine Arts College. (Teaching painting)

- 1985-1987: Advanced studies of multimedia-computer art at Shanghai University Fine Arts College.

1991-1994       Student at Nationaal Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (The National Higher Institute of Fine Arts Antwerp).

1994-1995            Researcher in Gent University.
