Another article appeared about our exhibition and world traveling show. Its
was published in "Der Sonthofer".
This is the monthly Sonthofen magazine which everyone of the locals read. After it
appeared on Saturday evening all our neighbours wanted to interview me about cyberart.

Sudha, Chair of EHCC, wrote me a nice e-mail telling me that she is happy about the
development of the world tour and that "the Board of directors of the EHCC are very
pleased too".
There is some reaction out of my internet connections: Thomas Wilkering
will ask show participants if they want to show images in his on-line gallery.
And the teacher Joe Nalven will show our EHCC show on a monitor in a
bookstore in San Diego. Details follow later.
A possible commercial venue for cyberartists' works-
Karin Kuhlmann has already translated a lot of your texts into German

Excuse me, but I didn't consider that the ü's, ä's and ß's in the German Text could make problems. The text 'Grüße vom...' shows
only a '404-error' in my brower. I've completely reworked both texts and eliminated all mutated vouwels and

Dear Py,
I hope you're doing fine? This is the great day - the opening day!!!!
Did you have a good and save flight to Hilo? It would be wonderful to be there with you...
I'm looking forward to find the exhibition opening photos soon and to read your comments regarding
the Hilo exhibition. Just can't wait.
You worked hard for all of us. But we too worked and are still working very hard for you. Took photos,
made presentations, articles, met with the press and other locals, had discussions with an horrible art teacher and so on and
so on... But everything worked out really fine now.
January 4th:
I'm proud to send you herewith the first
article about the 2002 INTERNATIONAL CYBERART
EXHIBITION,
which was published in our local town paper with a photo right on this opening day.
The Allgaeu press is proud that they can write: PC-art from the Allgaeu. "Der
KREISBOTE" has made a
very interesting article with links to www.lastplace.com and to my website
http://home.t-online.de/home/iutkamerbeeek/home.htm as well and a further direct link to the exhibition entry.
It's great, isn't it? I hope you love it! Further articles will follow from the local press.
And Karin and I have a wonderful teamwork. We do our very best to make this great exhibition a big
success here in Germany too. We are in good mood that there will come some positive messages for you as well as for us in the near
future. Have a great time and take care - Ingrid from Bavaria/Germany - nearby where the vampires live...
Jan. 6, 2002
Have you already seen the link to Karin's press preparation work?
She's done this great job and I've made the introducing letter for the press and
tomorrow I'll send it together with Karin's texts to several German-wide papers
(Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, Focus, Stern, art) many others will follow.

Letter from Mayor of Sonthofen, Germany to Ingrid Kamerbeek, Jan. 10, 02
Attached you receive a letter from our Mayor of Community which warms my heart. That's so good. I know him and he is very engaged to bring new ideas to Sonthofen. He told me in that letter that he is glad about my participation in the Hilo exhibition and he invited me to have another show in Sonthofen in the city-hall with images of my own and of course our common show.
Our local mayor of community, Hubert Buhl, wrote a personal letter to me in which he thanks me for bringing Sonthofen to the USA. He offers me even yet another exhibition in the city-hall.

There's a wonderful artist I know in Liechtenstein. It's a small country but a

I liked the proposal of the internet show, and I have interest of taking it ahead. I will enter in contact with the university of the which I am part and I will try to get right some dates and means to do it. The idea of the change is sensational, and really like you say, the future walks in that direction. Congratulations! I will be translating your texts for the Portuguese and I will send others to you that I have from here. I am part of the Hermeneutic Present Center in my university, and for us it will be a pleasure to change experiences with you and the institutions of the which it is part. Again I appreciate the opportunity to participate together with so many artists of several countries of that international exhibition. A great hug and success that you deserve! - Joesér Alvarez

Hi Pygoya,
I just wanted to let you know the URL of the newspaper with the publication
of my interview regarding the Cyberart Festival:
http://www.eldia.es/entrevistas/atmanvictor/
You can publish it in your web page if you want.
Another thing... I am going to apply for exhibition space for the Cyberart
Festival in some of the best public art venues here in the island of
Tenerife. I just need you to tell how you planned to finance the
transportation of the Cyberart Festival to Tenerife, since they need to
know if you request for additional expenses. If you plan to finance
yourself the transportation I think we will have much more possibilities to
be given a venue for the exhibition.
It's up to you...
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have a meeting tomorrow with owner of Hawaii Community Art Center in Honolulu. I will propose our group show and hopefully get a "Yes" quick enough for the poster deadline of Feburary 28th. If the show is approved, I will print out the show again and purchase the necessary 24 frames (East Hawaii Culture Center keeps the originals as they purchased the frames for the inaugural exhibition there in Hilo, Hawaii, a different Hawaiian island from the island here I live here in Honolulu)
February 15th
CONGRATULATIONS CYBERARTISTS!
I had a nice hour and a half acquaintance talk with Mr. Eguchi, owner of Hawaii Art Community Center. He was interested to learn about "cyberart" and its host existence on the Web. We have been granted an exhibition in this large Honolulu exhibition space (over 2000 square feet but we don't have to use the whole place). The show is tentatively scheduled for May 2002 but his staff will contact me about definitive dates. He requested and I Ok'd to provide an educational talk for other artists that come to the opening. He wants archival quality prints and is generous to provide a professional printing system for the show's works. All must be professionally framed and I shall pay for this by myself.
After the show is completed, I will transfer the framed works to my dental clinic's reception room that is titled "The Rodney Chang Gallery of Computer Art." I have digital art show there for my many patients. They will enjoy our international EHCC show!
Both show dates will be secured before poster deadline of February 28th.
SO EVERYBODY, WE HAVE 2 MORE EXHIBITS - BOTH IN HONOLULU, HAWAII, USA!
Aloha, Pygoya
Showdates set for Hawaii Art Community Center-
May 11 - 31, 2001
There will be a formal opening reception on May 11th at 7 p.m. and I will post images of the gathering. I will also give a lecture later in the upstairs art education classroom about cyberart and EHCC World Tour.
After the HACC show, our show will then be exhibited in my Rodney Chang Gallery of Computer Art from June through July 2002.

Great News! After the exhibition in Westhausen all images (inclusive EHCC-Show) will
wander to Heiningen, into another softwarehouse and will there be shown for further 3
weeks!!!
This is the wonderful big room in the w&k Westhausen where the EHCC-Cyberartshow will be
showcased together with 33 of my own digital works. A part of the images will be hang on the wall.
For the rest we consider to place partitions in the middle of the room.
We will have no official opening but we will invite all the employees (ca. 40) to "Leberkäs und Bier"
a typical Bavarian snack on the evening before opening in order to make them
acquainted with
digital- and cyberart. The official beginning is on April 10th an ends on May 31rst.
After that (in June) the whole exhibition wanders to Heiningen, also a big softwarehouse, and will
there be shown for further 3 weeks.

I discovered a woman named Ingrid. Yes, another Ingrid.
She has a website about traveling – well done. And she has a big
Hawaii site. So I asked her if we should cooperate.
Now she wants to show a whole site of our EHCC activities with
4 to 5 images on it and a text. I’ll send her the requested documents.
When this is done I’ll give you the link.
We could make a link to this on EHCC site with comments on this great
teamwork.
March 25, 2002 Update from Ingrid-
Ingrid provides us a frontpage link to the EHCC exhibition for her travel web site's Hawaii section-

London Gallery 14/About Vision situated in the heart of London.
The Colville Place Gallery London W1 is the sole UK Gallery
devoted to artists who use computers to create or modify their

Jeff Monje, Publisher of CHURN ART MAGAZINE, San
Francisco answered my email yesterday telling me he will have
our cyber art tour in his next issue!!!!! And he even will tell his
friend about EHCC so he perhaps might also report about us!
Good thing is he not just wants to report but is looking for a
great art-working related relationship.
Here is his e-mail:
Dear INGRID,
I would like to have the world cyber art tour in the
next issue 6th of CHURN. Our featured artist will be
H.R. GIGER ( creator of the alien creature in the hit
movie ALIEN). It will be a huge issue since we will be
publishing most of his new work.
We have approximatley 1 month for you to put something
together concerning the Cyber art tour. I think we can
develop e a great art-working relationship and we will
make a space on the new www.churnonline.com website
for updates concerning your tour. I would suggest
having most of the artists you are working with to go
and register their links on www.churnonline.com or
www.churnmag.com They can also go to our new FORUM
section on the www.churnonline.com site to let people
know about the tour.
The site is very new and we are still uploading new
material. We are now tesitng overall system to make it
bullet-proof. Once that has been done we will be
uploading images and more text plus our services we
will be offering. The new website will be the new
online art center offering everything from selling and
promoting artists works to advertising/ design/ slide
scanning / to printing and more.
Please take the time to let your people know about
our new site. We are also working with www.artspax.com
( Tobias Freccia is the president and a freind of
mine..I will be meeting with him very soon to go over
all the info about crossmrketing with each others
companies so everyone wins.I will let him know about
the tour so he can post soemthing as well. he is
averaging 1000 visitors a day.
For now you can put something together concerning the
tour -text/ history a lsist of the artists and their
websites etc..( photos too) and send them to me when
you can. I look forward to having you in our 6th issue
release!

Cyberartists show 2002 in Fort Assiniboine at the 2002 Hoedown a yearly cultural event .
Had a steady stream of visitors all day long on Saturday
and sold 8 prints . People were happy I put Fort Assiniboine on the map and related well to my modest display of 30 prints.
Using the archival sleeves with the hanging tags proved to be
less expensive than framing all works .
The mixing of digital photographs of people helped to bring the interest to the stage.
The Cyberartists portfolio will be in the museum till the end of the season. Thank you Rodney for selecting me to represent Canada in the
International Show 2002
