East side of lot, had to water these plants for years as after school chore!
Playing softball on the street, Rod put one through the front picture window
of that house next door.

Our citrus tangerine tree in the back yard; Dad liked to keep it round
and always trimmed it with pride

Our first fish pond, to be built again by Rodney at his various future residences
It went through 3 stages to this final form, but always leaked. At least with
the added height it no longer served as a toad's domain to lay eggs, poison the
fish with it's urine, and take in its daily meals of our tropical fish. This backyard
humble project served as inspiration for future ponds at other residence for the
rest of Rodney's life. Today his son Bronson continues the passion of pond building
and maintenance with an interest in hydraulic systems.
